Grandma's unofficial Update

Hi! It's fun to see everyone and hear how you are doing. This has been a busy year so far. We got grandma hearing aids, new glasses and a perm so she could go to Texas and Washington with Dell and Doyle. She is enjoying hearing. She was asked to speak in Relief Society the other night for the R. S. B-day party. You all would have enjoyed her antics and the story of her life - complete with hats. She is in good health and enjoys the people of the ward. They are all very sweet to her. She was just called along with Sister peterson to teach the 7 year olds. It has been an interesting two weeks for her. She forgot kids could wiggle that much and need that much attention -- all of them --- at once. She always seems to be gone -- either to the temple, to "Super Sisters" (a group of women that get together to visit and have lunch) or to Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
We'll have to get some pictures. We'll be sure to get her over here to enjoy your messages and pictures. Lots of fun guys.

Hey everyone! It's so good to be able to keep in touch with you all! We're all just pluggin' along. Ty, Kendall and Brie are all starting 4-H again. I'm not quite ready for all that work again yet. They're all gonna do steers again and Brie wants to show her heifer(young cow for those not in the ranching lingo), too. We have a friend that wants me to get one ready to show at the State Fair this fall. So we'll see what time and sanity allows. Maybe not much! I'm still delivering mail here around Leadore 3 days a week. It keeps me out and about. I'm the Young Women's President and I'm starting to panic thinking that girls camp is a lot of work.
I'll type at ya all again later. Love ya, LaDonna

Hammer Family Update

Hailey and an art project she made at Halloween

Chloe taking cookies to preschool on her b-day

Caden snowboarding

Coelton at sweethearts dance

We are all well and happy. Today Joel and the boys are snowboarding at Bogus Basin. They got 16 inches of new snow! They couldn't pass it up and I think all needed a break.
Tonight we are headed to Cenntenial High for a speed jump competition. Hailey tried out for the "jump rope" team at her school and made it! she is 10 years old and is very active! She has to jump 100 times in 1 min.
Hailey is also clogging with Idaho Rhythm this year and is on the intermediate team. She competed in Nampa and her team took 1st and she also took 1st in her solo. We are headed to pocatello for another competition in a couple weeks.
Coelton is gearing up for Track season and is finishing up his Junior year. He is most excited about Cross Country this summer. He will race on Varsity next year.
Caden is ready for his PACE project to be presented on Tuesday. It is a big deal in the 8th grade. His project is on Dentistry. He wants to be a Dentist someday. He can now solve the rubiks cube in 30 seconds. Caden truns 14 on Monday.
Chloe is now 5 and keeps us all laughing and having a good time. She is so smart and loves to go to preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I was released as the primary president and called to be the ward dance director for our youth 14-18. We are doing a 9 stake dance festival in April. Joel and I are teaching them the New York Hustle. It is a lot of fun and I have realized that teenagers are alot different from primary kids...it's kind of like herding cats. But we have fun and they really seem to enjoy it.

Glenn family update

Greetings from Washington! In case you hadn't heard about our baby or haven't seen photos of Adelle yet, I thought I'd post a couple. We blessed her on the 1st of February. It was good to have Mom and Dad and Grandma and KayDee come up for a quick visit. The kids all loved seeing them ,and the truck, again! Adelle loved the attention! Kaleb is in 2nd grade and loves it! He informed me the other day that he wants to be a teacher when he grows up.....of course, he also informed me that he wants to stay in 2nd grade forever! HMMMMM, we'll see how that turns out! Florence just turned four and is my big helper. Steve's working for an aerospace company and is always busy. He is also teaching in Primary, so all my kids are in Primary and Adelle and I are in the hall! We miss being closer to family and hope that you are all well.

The point of a blog...

is to actually post. Haha. We still have 11 open invitations, so talk to your families about it, if they need me to send them another e-mail to accept, I can do that. Just let me know! All of my family has accepted (and even posted, GO DAD!), so... score one for the Judy's. Just sayin'. Here are the e-mails that have yet to accept:

elmerfudd@myldsmail.net (I'm assuming this is Clay... so he's the only one that has an excuse. Or is he home yet? See... this is why you need to post!)
